EQUESTRIAN BAHAMAS AND FEI SOLIDARITY LAUNCH TOUCH A HORSE, TOUCH A LIFE OUTREACH PROGRAMME

Equestrian Bahamas launched the community outreach programme: “Touch a Horse, Touch a Life” by welcoming members of the Freetown Boys Club to Mariposa Stables for a full immersion experience…grooming, feeding, bathing, and yes…riding! This was the first of monthly planned outreach experiences, supported in part by FEI Solidarity, featuring the Member Clubs of Equestrian Bahamas. The programme aims to connect Bahamian youth with horses to promote healing, build relationships and foster personal growth, with a goal of reaching 500 youths in 2025.

A big thank you to RBPF Corporal 3919 Davis, Urban Renewal Officer Mr. Mackenzie and the young men of the Freetown Boys Club for taking the first steps with us on this journey; to FEI Solidarity for their support; and of course to the fabulous Mariposa Stables team and all the willing volunteers who helped out on the day!

Stay tuned for a full calendar of future outreach experiences and volunteer opportunities!
